After 2, 4 hour flights to Delhi from Nairobi, we were dropped off at the train station in Delhi at 4 in the morning. Not only was it in the middle of the night but we had a 5 minute walk down a dark alley way. The first thing I noticed after stepping out of this bus from the airport was the chirping of many tiny birds. Then, came the stress of getting all 20 of us out of this bus with all our luggage before the driver decided to drive away. I immediately felt the spirit of oppression that women face in this country, as I tried to not look men in the eyes. We walked down this dark alley with all of our packs, as dogs on both sides of us growled and barked at us. There was a strong smell of urine that filled the street. A praise song landed on my heart. I began to sing loudly and boldly while walking down this alley.   We got our tickets and safely on the train. After not sleeping for 24 hours and getting a minimum of 4 hours of sleep the 3 nights before I should be grumpy. As soon as we walked out of the airport my heart leaped for joy. I was thinking to myself, I normally would be grumpy but by the grace given by Jesus, I was not and love this place. As I sit here on the train, I am so excited to see the Lord work here and am ready for Him to work through me in this place.
