Ministry this month has been very short and sweet but not yet over.  We began our time in Arusha, about an hour from mount Kiliminjaro, without a contact.  We were dropped off without a contact.  We spent our days asking the Lord what his will was.  He led us to praise Him in this spiritually dark place.  After about 3 days, our contact came back into town and we met with him.  This man was a pastor of a pentacostal church in Arusha and had us staying in the local families’ houses.  Shiloh and I lived with the Kuwele’s which was a perfect fit for us.  They took us in as their daughters and treated us like princesses.  They cooked amazing food, the best food in Africa. They also loved on us and joked around with us.
Our schedule, though it be short, was pretty solid.  We worked on jobs that needed to be done around the church and did some door to door evangelism.  Patrick and I were blessed to see three people come to know the Lord and pray with them.  In the short time that we were there, we built strong relationships, while learning to work as a new team.  We were split up, so this presented as a challenge.
We will be going into the bush next week. Please be praying for us!
