We went to visit Jill’s child she sponsors through
Compassion. When we got to the little
girl’s house, I noticed a woman sitting with an old man. They were across the lawn from where we
were. As I was letting Jill have her time
with her little girl, I decided to try and go talk to this woman. She did not speak any English and neither did
the old man. I was able to get her name
and tell her mine and spit out the few Swahili words that I know. I could not communicate with her. I then decided to sing the Swahili song that
I learned at church in Kenya. I began singing and she joined in. We praised Jesus together!!
