Well I never thought I was going to be writing a blog at 11:00pm just before I head out the door to get in the truck to head to the airport. First off if you know me well enough I LOVE my sleep so 11pm is super late I am usually in bed and dreaming by now… BUT tonight is different I am ecstatic about what God has planned for me this year that I just can’t sleep. Besides how does that saying go “Sleep is over raided?” haha
A week ago I was super overwhelmed with everything and how the mission trip was coming up so fast I couldn’t get anything under control. I felt like my mind was going to explode with all the things I had to buy, and do before today! But the past couple of days has been very calming.. God has prepared my heart more then I could ever imagine. He has taught me so much on how to love, serve and just be in the moment. I am in awe of how awesome our God really is. I mean financially I am in great condition I have met my launch goal ($7,500) a while ago and pretty much have my next deadline ($11,000) already raised. This next hour I am just waiting in excitement for what is to come but also just adoring all the things my God has already done for me.
I encourage you to just serve those in your community. Love them, serve them, encourage them, be a blessing, and share the gospel. You don’t have to go to the nations to serve and share Jesus with others… you can do it right at home! A wise person once told me “How do you expect to go to the nations to serve if you can’t serve your own community?”
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth have been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28: 18-19
Lord I pray that the one who is reading this can go out to there community and be a blessing, that they can serve those who need help and need strength from you. Move through them be there hands and feet. In Jesus Name, Amen.
