Just to let you all know what is going on, I am still in Georgia. When we went to check in for our flight yesterday, they would not let us because our tickets were one way and we did not have another ticket to prove we were leaving the country. The plan now is that 13 people from our group will hopefully get to fly out of Atlanta tonight at 6:25 and then the rest of us will leave Thursday at 6:25. Please pray that everything goes smoothly this time and we can be on our way. God knows what He is doing and He has a purpose behind us not getting to leave on time. I know getting some time to chill and quietly focus on the goal of this trip is nice. The last few days preparing were so rushed and hectic. This down time is just what I needed to focus on God. I love the way God keeps surprising us. He is never boring. He has also give us all the grace to handle this unexpected turn of events with calm and excitement. Everyone is upbeat and flexible. The whole group is pumped up and ready to get on the field. Please pray for safety, that no luggage will be lost and that we keep God at the center. Our eyes are fixed on the prize and we are all ready to go. Thanks for your prayers. My favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31. God is giving us the chance to wait on Him so he can renew our strength.
