10/18/14 Journal Entry:

“Just as my plane is breaking through the clouds and beyond the fluffy peaks, so my heart soars and defies gravity. I am full, Father. I’ve never felt so equipped before to do your Kingdom Work. To go forth and proclaim freedom from any bondage and any captivity. To set into motion other nations as your Church, worldwide, is set ablaze for your fame, Jesus Christ. I’ve never been so intimately acquainted with the Holy Spirit. I’ve never been so sure of myself and the place the Father has set my feet. I soar beyond the clouds. My vision has been cleared. Oh, what beauty and glory you have, Sweet Lord. The tenderness of your heart is refershing and renewing. Your love is sweeter than honey, stronger than death, and more indulgent than wine. I am blessed to serve a Master who’s desire is FOR ME and never ignores me! Philippians 3:12 – ‘Jesus Christ has made me his own.’ You have called me out by name!”

11 Take-Aways from Training Camp:

1) Exhaustion of every kind (emotional, spiritual, and physical) at training camp is an understatement.

2) Abandoment leads to discomfort but discomfort leads to total dependence on the Father for emotional, spiritual, and physical needs.

3) We don’t need much to live a full life – Jesus fills voids permanently, whereas possessions fill voids temporarily.

4) We must grieve the painful losses of past seasons of our lives before we can effectively embrace the present and the future.

5) As ambassadors for Christ, we are fighting the battle for peoples hearts and not their behaviors/performance. Obedience to the Father flows out of a passionate relationship, not out of religious duty.

6) The Lord deals tenderly and kindly with broken hearts.

7) Dance parties are refreshing and freeing.

8) We are called to be a supernatural being in a natural world, calling supernatural things to invade the natural.

9) Who knew that 55 people in purple swag would be so heart warming and joy inducing? #sQuad #3rdgenQsquad

10) God will call you out of your comfort zone and into His will. Don’t resist it, because when you finally just obey, you will find fulfillment, imperishable joy, and an out pouring of the Holy Spirit within you. Trust me, it’s worth the discomfort.

11) What I get from the Race depends on the amount of space I create for God to fill me. Daily ABANDOMENT to my false intimacies of this passing world will make room for the Holy Spirit to breathe into me and give me renewed life and intimacy with him every day.

Thank you for all the prayers this past week. The Spirit did incredible things in my heart and the hearts of my squadmates. We are equipped. We have been challenged and stretched to the limits. We are filled and overflowing. We are obeying. We are going forth into the nations as a people who are sure of their identity in Christ. We couldn’t be more exstatic for what lies ahead!

Prayer Requests:
– Pray for the Lord to continue cultivating deeper, intimate relationships with my squad.
– Pray for those who have not reached full funding. Consider giving to Q Squad! (Ask me for name suggestions if this is something you are interested in.)
– Pray for continued healing in our hearts and bodies as things of our pasts were unrooted in Racers at Training Camp and need time to fully heal. Pray for the Spirit to keep ministering to our hearts.

As always, I’d love to be praying for you readers! Please let me know how I can be doing so 🙂
