Thanks for all your prayers and support! They were felt and God gave me 11 things to blog about 🙂 Ready or not here are the last 6.

6. God has called us to love, even when it gets tough. Going into the school has been amazing and very rewarding! But I’m not called to teach a kindergarten or first grade class of almost 30 kids including many rambunctious boys. After 20 minutes of teaching English it gets tough when the boys are running around wrestling. Then God gently reminds me they need more of His love. So I smile and keep on teaching English as I show His love. So show love to those who it may be a little tougher to love.

7. Call a friend or family member. A phone call can make all the difference in the world, not only for you but the other person as well. You hang up the phone knowing you are cared for. God created us to have friendships and be in families, so the more we grow those relationships the happier we will be.

8. Take a walk. It amazes me how a simple walk can clear my mind. As you walk take time to admire God’s creation! The birds are singing a song for you and the sun is shinning for you. The trees give us shade. Thank God for His beautiful creation.

9. Rely less on social media. I never imagined I would write that. Being without Internet where I’m staying the last three months has really made me realize how much I look to Facebook for instant gratification, how many people like my post or pic. We should find ourself and our identity in the Lord and who He says we are! My Facebook time has been sliced to almost nothing so I’ve realized it is useful to keep up with people and let everybody know how my travels are going, but it’s not my identity.

10. Praise no matter what. Alaba a Dios is one of my favorite songs. It was sang tonight during church and it reminded me that no matter what praise God. Even when you feel like God is being quiet, praise Him because in the silence He is working on your behalf.

11. Games bring laughter to your soul. You are never to old for a board or card game. Tonight our team played spoons and it was a good time had be all. I much prefer playing cards or a board game as a way to end my day rather than watching tv. Games bring laughter which is good for your soul.

Hopefully one or many of the 11 items God gave me has spoken to you! Thanks for all your prayers and support.
