When you are choosing to follow God’s will there are often times critics, but sometimes it is the little voice inside our head that speaks the loudest. As the evangelist so eloquently said last night at revival, “During any transition, good or bad, there are always voices trying to drive us off course, but we need to remember we are God’s anointed! We need to remain in the anointing, remember our calling, and recall the Word of God.” This was such an on time word for me!
Last week after running into roadblocks with fundraising, doubt was starting to creep in. But I found that as doubt creeps in, GOD HAS ME ON HIS MIND! Last Friday I taught the youth at Roca de Refugio and I was able to stay for the first part of their Vigilia. I really wanted to be there for worship, but first they had scripture and prayer. At the end of prayer Pastora asked me to come up and tell about my trip so the church could pray for me. This reminded me of God’s calling and that God’s calling is stronger than any doubt that may creep in. So, I told them about the World Race, the places I would be traveling, what led me there, and about 11 months of pure ministry to show God’s love. Once I finished, Pastora asked Sara to come up. When she reached the stage she had an offering plate in her hand and told about how God had place me on her mind the past couple days and how she knew God was wanting her to help me go on my mission trip. I was in tears as I realized God has it all under control and that even though I had began to doubt that He was still thinking of me and providing for me.
What are you doubting? Remember that God has you on His mind and He is already making a way! It may not be the way you had planned to get there, but He already has it all worked out. Choose faith over doubt!
