My squad had our 6 month debrief in Nairobi last week. It was great to be with the entire squad for a few days before heading on to Asia where we’re currently in Bangkok for a few days before heading on to our ministry sites.

It’s crazy how easy it is to adapt in life: a new team, a new continent, a vastly different life is so easy to pick up. We went to a mall in Bangkok yesterday that in honesty I wouldn’t even go to in the states…it was nicer than any place I’ve been and yes it was just one more thing to adapt to, enjoy, and move on from. Anyway…

At the end of debrief we were given our new teams… drum roll please ~ I’m now on Team Beloved. O Squad’s only all girl’s team! I’m sure that it will be a good experience, and a good challenge at that…but it will definitely take some getting used to. Depending how well you know me, there’s a good chance you’re laughing pretty hard right about now…it’s ok, so did my friends here as they asked what I though about my new team. I’ve always had guy friends around and never desired to put a ton of effort into relationships with girls (ya know, having a few close ones has always been enough for me). I know that will be a positive change though and I know that I’m with an amazing group of women to love me and teach me along the way.

My new team is:
Brittany Cox~ Our fearless leader
Brittany Jackson
Brittany Priess
Courtney Hess
Jenny Hill
