“Jesus is the beautiful man with a beautiful heart. Think about it; He is fully human acquainted with all our ways yet has no bitterness, insecurity or shame. He lives with His heart open without fear of being rejected or misused. He doesn’t build up walls to spare Himself hurt but He lets us back in again and again. There is no man like Him. He delights to do His Father’s will without rebellion or pride. He’s humble, meek and lowly anointed with the oil of gladness more than all of His companions. His heart is fiery, jealous and full of zeal without an ounce of wickedness or egocentric arrogance. His heart is kind, gentle and patient yet unrelenting in tenacious pursuit of yours. He’ll do whatever it takes to win you over and to unite your heart to His. I love this man and I love His beautiful heart”

Isaiah 9:6-7
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.
Its the perfect time of year to reflect on the life of Jesus. He came into the world in a manger and was both fully God and fully human. I love knowing that He can always relate to our struggles because He experienced the same things, but yet always remained completely obedient to the Father. His life was one of love and sacrifice. When I think about the way I try and love those around me I’m quick to recognize how much harder it is to love the ones I’m the closest to and know the most about. Sometimes it’s easier to love random acquaintances than family members for me. At the same time I’m reminded that that The Lord knows every single thing about us. He knows our weaknesses, struggles, insecurities, and all the other messy stuff but still loves us the same no matter what we do. He loves us at our darkest moments and His love is never wavering. He came to be the perfect sacrifice for us and He shows the ultimate example of love. The more we open our heart and life to others the more we can let His love flow out of us and show His love and grace by the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that I can show His love to all those around me no matter the circumstances.
I hope everyone reading has an amazing Christmas. May His everlasting love and presence be with you all this season!
