Hello Family and Friends!
So my story…It all began on a beautiful day in April of 1987! The sun was shinning and school was letting out. It was 3:10 in the afternoon! Ok jokes aside i wont tell everything from my birth to now! It is always so hard to figure out where to begin talking about your life story. My life has so many vivid memories in it that have lead me to where and who I am today. I will give you a quick run down of my life since I am guessing you are here to read my bio!
I grew up in a small town called Jackson,TN. I am from a family of six. My parents are still happily married and will celebrate 28 years in may! They are the world to me. My dad owns his own contracting business and builds custom homes. He is truly the most humble and loving man I have ever encountered. If you were to ask me if my dad hung the moon, I would answer you with a firm YES! I am a daddy’s girl to the extreme! He also is a very lucky man because my mother is a wonderful, selfless woman! She is super woman! My mother works along side my dad in staging the homes and putting the feminine touch that woman want to see! They make a dynamic duo. They have raised my two brothers, sister, and myself to be the best we can be. My oldest brother,Brian, is almost 26 and happily married to my beautiful sister-n-law,Kristi. They had a baby on June 25,2008. Baby Conner has been a wonderful addition to my family and to my storage of photos! My younger brother,Lance, is 20 and currently learning the trade of framing a house. He is so amazing with his hands and the most kind hearted and mannerly young man. His smile can light up an room and brighten your day! My little sister,Laura, is 17 and going to graduate from high school in May! She is the most beautiful and selfless young woman. I am so proud of her! She is so selfless and would litterly give you the shirt off her back if you needed it! Her beauty is inside and out and I am proud to claim her as my little sister! She recently competed in UCA Nationals and as captain ,on top of having a appendicitis attack, lead her squad to place 9 out of 42 squads! I am a little proud 🙂
Now I guess i need to talk about myself some. I am 21 and will soon graduate from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga with a degree in Early Childhood Education PreK-3 and Special Education K-12. I have been blessed beyond belief throughout my entire life. God sat my heart aside from the beginning and from a very young age i realized that. At age of 9 I was saved a begin to live life the way i thought i was suppose to! I played by the rules and impressed everyone. I went to every church camp and attended every church event. I thought i knew what life was all about, but when i entered college God was ready to rock my world. He has turned my thinking away from myself and sat my focus on Him. No longer do i think that its all about playing by the rule book. No! Now i know that we are meant to live life for Him, completely selflessly giving our entire devotions to bringing Him glory. As I sat in last night and listened to my college pastor speak he presented us with an example that I will never forget. He said we are to be like an angled mirror. It is my job to become an angled mirror that God’s light shines onto then reflects off of.
He has given me the passion and love to:
be outside!
take faded reflections of things He already created!(AKA photography)
sew
a love for music
a desire to make a difference in the lives of children
a passion to spread His love
a love for my family
a passion to make anything crafty: paint, color, build, etc.
play on play grounds! ( I ABSOLUTELY refuse to grow up ,in my heart I will always be a kid)
a love for sunshine
a love to laugh
a love to be in water.wake board.knee board. tube. swim. I love it all
I am always up for an adventure and challenge
