will be in Asia. Upon arriving I was
very hesitant because I didn’t know much about Asian culture. I was excited to come but wasn’t really
prepared for liking it as much as I have. I was afraid that it was going to be like Africa where I was ready to
leave at any moment, but God changed my heart and I’m falling in love with Asia
a little bit every day.

This month my team,
Redeemed, has been split. I’m already
missing the 5 that are not with me! This
month I am still with Bambi, who happens to be the team leader for the month. I am also blessed to be doing ministry with
April Wright, Lauren Williamson, and Heather Reed. Upon arriving to Thailand we were expecting
to be working at an orphanage. Well I
guess God has a bigger plan in store this month because we are not at an
orphanage, and by the grace of God I’m doing much better with this than many
would have expected. Last month I
struggled with being ok with going to the orphanage because I so badly wanted
to be going to Phuket to work with the prostitutes, and now I’m not doing
either of those! God must having
something really big
in store this month!
So what does this
months ministry look like? Well, we will
be doing A LOT of manual labor. Lots of prayers please because my alarm
currently says that it’s 105. We are living in a house, with no AC, and I
think the coldest it got last night was 83, which was actually at day
break. I’m looking forward to seeing
what God will do in and through me and my team. We will also be doing prayer walks around the village throughout the
next 2 weeks.
heading back to Bangkok on the 25th because it takes 4 days to process the
visas for Vietnam. Which means 3 will
remain to do ministry. That last week
will be an English camp. We don’t know
what that looks like yet and it hasn’t been decided who will be returning to
Bangkok early. Please continue to pray
for the riots that have been going on in Bangkok and around Thailand!
Already the Lord is teaching me what it means to be content…in
every situation!
