IT'S TIME!
The last few months have gone by so quickly and I feel like so much has happened in that short time.
Ended one job.
Started two jobs.
Moved. (Only about 20 minutes away.)
Officially met my new family for the next year.
Researched gear and read many blogs for the Race.
Traveled around the southeast to speak to churches.
I've also had to say "see ya later" to so many great friends and family. Here's just a few pictures for your enjoyment.
While it was hard to realize that I'm not going to get to see these people and others over the next year, it wasn't sad. I say it's not sad because I'm so excited what God is going to do in and through my life this next year. I'm also excited for what God is going to do in and through your life this year! Then when I get back I will get to reunite with all of you lovely people and hear how your year was and what you learned.
Thank you to everyone who has sent encouraging messages! I encourage you to continue to do that as you think about it. Even if it's just a short message saying that you were thinking about my team and I and praying for us, that means so much!
I will officially fly out Thursday for Honduras! Please keep all 5 squads in your prayers on Thursday as we all go out to different countries.
