Well, this is it…..I leave Sunday for Atlanta, then Thursday for Honduras.
As I have been saying "see ya later" to my friends and family, many have been asking about how to stay in touch with me while I'm gone. So here are a few things that you can do right now and over the next 11 months:
1) E-mail me!
* One of the things I always love is receiving letters. I will not be able to receive mail while I'm gone, but that's what e-mail is for! Please feel free to send me e-mail or facebook messages to encourage me along the way.
* I also want to stay informed on how you are doing and any ways I can pray for you. Just because I'm physically away from you doesn't mean that I don't want to know what is going on in your life!
* Another idea is to go ahead and send me an encouraging e-mail so that I can save it as an offline document so when I don't have wifi I can still read it. You can even personalize it by adding to the subject line "open in month 6" or "open when feeling discouraged". However you would like to do it, go for it! It will be a much larger encouragement than you think!

2) Read my blogs!
* I will not have reliable internet service as I travel, so my blog will be the main way you can keep up with me. I highly encourage you to subscribe to my blog by entering your e-mail address on the left of this page. This way you will get notified whenever I post a new blog. There will be times when I post to my blog and may not have the chance to post to facebook so this will be your most reliable source!
* Also feel free to comment on my blogs. I love getting feedback from people so don't hesitate to leave a comment!
I saved the best, and most important for last……
3) Pray!
* Praying for my team and I is the most important thing you can do! Pray for us by name: Dillon Wadewitz, Jinnae Morgan, Nathan Borntrager, Michelle Ford, Andrea Crichton, Matthew Fitzgerald, and myself. (Team Cor Adamantis) We know that if God is not the center of everything we do and the reason we are on the World Race, then we are doing no good for His Kingdom!
* Pray that we stay focused on why we are even doing this in the first place.
* Pray that we are seeing with the eyes of Jesus, always looking for opportunities to share Him with all that we come in contact with.
* Pray that we are constantly learning. Pray that we don't get complacent and content with where we are/what we're doing.
* Pray for the nations we will be going to and the people we will be ministering to/with. This includes the ministry contacts we will be working with.
* Pray for the leadership at Adventures in Missions, our Squad Leaders (Beka, Jeffery, Alyssa), our Team Leaders, Treasurers, Logistics, Safety, Unsung Heroes. Pray for wisdom in all situations.
