Today is September 7, 2016.

HOLY. COW.

A little over six months ago I embarked on this crazy journey, and waaaay back in February, these moments seemed years away.

I’m starting the goodbyes, saying “see you in 10 months”. I’ve found my joy in packing cubes, gaucho pants, and Japanese Encephalitis vaccines.

It’s getting close folks.

As I celebrate dorm move-ins with close friends, and first day’s of school with others, I can’t help but look forward in equal amounts of terror and excitement. Soon I’ll move into my 75L backpack (kind of the same thing as a dorm, right?!), be headed back down to Atlanta for Launch, and starting day 1 of ministry.

And it’s all happening so fast.

So as the excitement grows day by day, so does every racer’s fear- fundraising.

The number one question that I’ve received in this whole process is “How are you going to raise $13,000??????”, and my only response has been, “I don’t know how, but I know that the Lord is going to provide.”

The Lord has been SO unbelievably faithful to me throughout this entire process thus far. At every fork in the road, every moment of second guessing myself and His calling for my life, the Lord has provided in miraculous ways.

Looking back on the past six months, I can see it.

There is no way that I could have raised nearly $8,000 on my own. It’s all coming from the Lord.

So when I look at my fundraising bar, and realize that I have less than 10 days to raise more than $2,000- I am ridiculously fearful, but also ridiculously faithful that He will continue to provide.

I am 100% positive that this is where the Father is calling me, and I know that He will continue to move mountains.

If you are feeling compelled, called or willing to donate to my trip, PLEASE DO! You can donate on the left side of my blog by hitting the “donate” button, or by clicking the fundraising bar at the top of the blog! All donations are tax deductible!!

You can also help by sharing this blog with friends, family, church people and even non church people! 🙂 sharing is caring friends.

Thank you SO MUCH for your continuous support and prayers! I cannot wait to see how the Lord continues to provide in and through everyone.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me, or leave a comment!
