Packing Tips:

  • roll sleeping bag liner up into compressible pillow

  • combine hammock & slap straps (tight fit, but worth it!)

  • get a compression sack for tent, footprint, & rain fly, and strap tent poles on to pack

  • pack toiletry bag into top detachable section of pack, then remove once at location and use top section as a “catch all” for quick packing/cleaning or dirty clothes

  • Separate clothes into packing cubes and don't take whatever doesn't fit! (1 for shirts, 1 for bottoms, 1 for underwear

What all is going in the day pack?

  • Dry Sack (for phone, iPod, passport, etc.)

  • 1 change of clothes

  • makeup

  • Wisps

  • electronics

  • multi-tool (unless in airport!!)

  • travel Bible

  • journal or notepad

  • pens, highlighters

  • daily medication, motion sickness

  • towel

Below you will find 2 videos (big pack and daypack) where I will magically stuff all of that crap into a bag. Enjoy!
