Today, my friend Becka came over for lunch amid the rain that quickly became snow. We sat, caught up, and enjoyed each others' company. While she encouraged me in a medley of ways, it was in her prayer before she left to go back to work that spoke more to my heart and soul than anything else. She prayed that I would have "boldness to hope" for my future and the individuals in my future.
I had never thought to pray for such a thing. I had always categorized "boldness" in one box and "hope" in the other. But to put them together…I do believe Becka was spot on. I am now praying for this combination to be a part of all areas of my life.
