My About Me is pretty amazing – if I do say so myself!
But…
It’s pretty general.
For a fun little activity I am going to list 100 things about me!
Some interesting. Some not-so-interesting.
HERE WE GO!
1. I have never been on an international mission trip.
2. My favorite colors are grey and green.
3. I’m very afraid of the dark.
4. I have 3 tattoos and all three of them I got with the same friend – two of them match!
5. My sense of direction is awesome.
6. I was on the swim team in high school.
7. Until I started working in logistics I couldn’t have pointed out any states west Mississippi or above Kentucky on a map.
8. I’m still horrible at world geography.
9. I’m not picky about what I eat but how it’s prepared. I’m very particular about my dipping sauces and toppings.
10. My favorite desserts are chocolate chip cookies, oreos, or birthday cake and ice cream.
11. I am really good at finding things…but only for other people.
12. Justin and I were engaged, broke up, starting dating again, and then got married. We like to do things out of order – it’s the Wofford Way!
13. When I was 8 my mom let me cut all my hair off like a boy.
14. If I’m around someone for long enough I start to talk like them. It’s a weird habit and I worry that people will think I’m mocking them.
15. When I sleep I like to create a cocoon with the covers.
16. I am terrible about remembering to take pictures.
17. I hate shopping.
18. My wedding dress is my most favorite thing I own. I hope that my daughter(s) will want to wear it.
19. I didn’t like my name when I was growing up but now I love it because I very rarely meet another Hannah.
20. My favorite animal is the three-toed sloth. I have loved them way before Kristen Bell proclaimed her love for them on Ellen. And yes, I would act just like her if I met a sloth.
21. I love traditions and want to start a whole bunch when Justin and I start a sweet little family.
22. My best friend is my husband.
23. Math is the enemy.
24. Fleetwood Mac is my favorite band.
25. I’m desperately trying to become a runner.
26. My feet are always cold.
27. How I Met Your Mother is my favorite TV show. It’s the Friends of my generation.
28. I can’t sleep unless my hair is in a bun on top of my head.
29. I think coincidences are the coolest things ever. If I share the same birthday, name, hometown, or anything really with someone I become overly excited.
30. I still sleep with my baby blanket. Justin hates it and get mad when it touches him. I don’t need to hear all the psychological mumbo-jumbo that could be said about a 24 year old that still sleeps with her baby blanket. I get it. It’s weird. And no, I won’t be taking it with me.
31. I have a song for every situation and I don’t think twice about singing it out loud even if it’s at an inappropriate moment.
32. Interrupting people is my worst habit.
33. The only medicine I willingly take is Tylenol.
34. I can’t wait to go days without washing my hair while on the race.
35. I’m not artistic but I am very crafty and it’s one of my favorite things about myself.
36. I wear a cardigan nearly every day.
37. Surprisingly, I have a lot of nicknames – Hannah just doesn’t seem like a nickname kinda name: Hannie (my dad called me this so now it's off limits to anyone else), Han, Waffles, Hannah Barbera, Hannah B, Hannah Boo, Boo…
38. I regret not going away to college.
39. I’m a planner and an organizer. I hate chaos and clutter. I apologize in advanced to my teammates – I will probably clean/organize you’re living area at least once while we’re together! It’s not a bad thing unless you’re one of those weird “personal space” people. 😉
40. I hate the beach and love the mountains.
41. I came to know Jesus when I was really young on the fourth of July at a sing my church was having. I remember the feeling I had that I needed to walk down the aisle and accept Jesus. It was like nothing I had ever felt. I haven’t always lived like it over the years but He has always been there drawing me back to him – each time sweeter than the time before.
42. I can’t whistle. 🙁
43. When I see someone eating alone at a restaurant I get really sad for them even though they probably want to be eating alone and there is nothing to be sad about.
44. Traveling by plane makes me feel important. I’m not sure why…
45. I am praying about going to nursing school when we return from the race.
46. When I was little I thought Tums was a type of candy.
47. I can’t say the word ‘rural’.
48. Over the phone, when I tell people my name, it sounds like Tina or Teanna or Martha…?
49. I’m sarcastic and love to joke around. I just recently realized not everyone is like that and I hurt people’s feelings without meaning to.
50. When we get back from the race I want to live anywhere but Jacksonville, Florida.
51. I don’t drink any kind of caffeine.
52. I give numbers and letters a gender. I’ve done it since I was in elementary school.
53. My mom used to let me sleep in odd places like the bathtub or my closet.
54. I have been told on several occasions that I look like Kate Winslet.
55. I love to read.
56. I love to buy new books. I will probably never own a Kindle or a Nook because, for me, there is nothing like cracking the spine of a brand new book for the first time.
57. I love to encourage people and help them work through problems.
58. When someone is treated unfairly I get irate.
59. I get really frustrated with overly sensitive people.
60. My favorite food is boneless wings of any flavor dipped in blue cheese and I eat them one a week.
61. I have two mottos: “Let go.” and “Life is not this hard to live”. The latter is usually said in response to people who are acting completely ridiculous.
62. Politics is my least favorite thing in the entire world.
63. I want to cage dive with sharks while on the race if possible.
64. At times I’m dyslexic.
65. I’m a Florida Gator married to a Georgia Bulldog.
66. I LOVE the Boston Red Sox thanks to my husband who has been life-long fan. I get emotional about them.
67. When I was in high school I got to meet Cheyenne Kimball and one of the girls from Laguna Beach at the mall. Just for the record, they were both rude.
68. Back in the day I was an awesome knee-boarder.
69. I’m a XSFJ personality type.
70. I’m inpatient.
71. I love buying office supplies. A new box of pens and a blank notebook put me in a really productive mood. The same goes for file folders and a new planner.
72. When I’m eating I almost always get something on my shirt.
73. During our first year and a half of marriage Justin and I moved 6 times.
74. I love thunderstorms.
75. My favorite flower is the magnolia. I want a huge magnolia tree in my front yard!
76. My trust is really easy to earn but it’s also really easy to lose.
77. New Orleans is my favorite city to visit.
78. I have a love/hate relationship with Facebook. I just wish people knew how to use it properly.
79. I hate the color pink.
80. I love breakfast food and could it for every meal (unless I’m eating boneless wings).
81. I used to be a reality TV junkie but now it disgusts me.
82. I’m a very hard sleeper. That’s probably going to come in handy on the race!
83. Living in the moment is really hard for me. I’m always thinking ahead and planning.
84. My handwriting changes every couple of years.
85. I think Beth Moore is precious and want her to be my friend. If I ever meet her I am going to give her gigantic hug that might last an awkward amount of time.
86. I don’t want to raise my kids in America.
87. I’m a total people person. I get really excited about meeting new people!
88. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been camping.
89. If I give you a nickname you’re pretty special to me.
90. My Poppy makes the best baked ham in the WHOLE WORLD! I would forgo presents at Christmas time just to eat his ham.
91. Psychology was my favorite college course. I never had to study for a test because I instantly retained the information and it made perfect sense to me.
92. Ethics was my second favorite college course probably because it was taught by the same professor who taught my psychology course.
93. When my nails are painted and my eyebrows are waxed I feel like I can conquer the world!
94. I talk with my hands.
95. I have the most random taste in music.
96. James is my favorite book of the bible.
97. When I was little I was OBSESSED with The Little Mermaid. I had LM sheets, LM comforter, LM curtains, LM pillow case, LM Barbie dolls, LM bathing suit, LM towel, LM nightgowns…
98. I have seen an angel.
99. My middle name is Marie.
100. I am fearfully and wonderfully made!
