Dear Allan and Lindsay,

Let’s go to Dubai. I think the past
season calls for a celebration and that should happen in Dubai. I
hope you enjoy this blog I wrote for you! Love you long time.

Love, Hannah

“It is grace, nothing but grace, that
we are allowed to live in community with Christian brethren.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Life Together

This kinda sums up the past 4 months
(7, if you count since training camp). The fact that I was able to
lead with Allan and Lindsay, to be in community with them, is an
example of God’s grace in my life. These past months have been some
of the most stretching in my life. And it has been so good. so so
so good. I don’t even know what He did inside of me fully yet. I
know that more freedom was found and that more freedom is coming. I
know that I truly want whatever life God has for me, whatever is
best. I know that He has done something inside of me, affirmed my
Spirit, brought me a new level in Him. And He has done so much of
this through Allan and Lindsay. By them just being themselves. That
is what community should be- inspiring each other simply because of
who we are in Christ.

I’ll start with Allan. Allan, Allan,
Allan…..Bold, strong, wise, willing to grow, peace, humility, fun,
laughter, goofy, creative, truth speaker, holy discontent, lives
above reproach. Allan is a true brother to me and a man of God. He
listens to the Spirit, he speaks from the heart, he is willing to own
up to his mistakes. Allan knows who he is in Christ, that he is
loved and empowered. He expects greatness out of himself and others.
He carries authority. He is able to see to the root of what is
going on, issues at hand, and calls it out. Allan has inspired me to
never settle in life- never settle for what is good, normal, average,
expected. The feedback he has given me, no matter how “small it
may seem, has brought about so much growth and self-awareness. He
has inspired me to pursue greatness. To look beyond the obvious and
see what is below the surface. He has inspired me to look at God’s
word with new eyes, to ask for new revelations from the Father, and
to be fully lead by the Spirit. And he is hilarious and goofy. I
have laughed so much more these past months then I could have ever
hoped for!

Lindsay Dobner. gentle, firm, sweet,
focused, walks in such intimacy with the Lord, joy, kind,
self-controlled, BEAUTIFUL, love, love, love, love. Lindsay is my
opposite. Seriously. When it comes to personality and how we
operate, we are almost always on opposite sides of the spectrum. Its
fantastic. Seriously. She loves running, I hate it. She needs
alone time, I need people time. She likes getting up early, I find
it easier to stay up late. She likes to shower and be clean, I like
to see how long I can go without shampooing my hair. And I have come
to love our differences. She thinks differently, processes
differently, is passionate about different things and places- she
LOVES Central America! Lindsay loves well. She wants to grow and
she won’t settle for anything that isn’t what God has for her. She
has a POWERFUL voice and is a prayer WARRIOR. She has a heart for
Spanish missions; a desire to see education and governments around
the globe free from corruption. She was able to bring Allan and
myself back to reality when we’d go off on random tangents during
meeting time, which was definitely needed! Lindsay also does what is
perhaps the best Hannah impression the world has or will ever know.
That is no exaggeration. Lindsay truly inspires me, in so many ways.
She inspires me to walk more confidently in the beautiful woman that
God has made me. She inspires to spend more time with my Abba
Father, to start the day in intimacy with the Lord, to seek Him with a
pure heart. She inspires me to run! It’s true. I have run multiple
times on this trip. Miracles do exist. She inspires me to pursue
the desires of my heart, to dream big, and chase after the things God
has for me.

So, thank you Lindsay and Allan! Squad
leading with you has been more then I could have asked or imagined.
Thank you for the conversations, the laughter, the joy, the prayer
times, the prophetic words, the challenges. Thank you for loving me
through my tears and messiness, for letting me cry on your shoulder,
for accepting me 100% and calling out greatness in me. You both have
blessed my life and made an eternal impact on my heart. Here’s to
the past 7 months and to the up and coming! And seriously, lets go
to Dubai. I’ll meet you there in 48 hours.
