While in Kenya my team spent time at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp.  These people lost their homes in 2007 during the ethnic clashes that happened post election.  The government placed them in these camps and gave them a tent to live in.  It was supposed to be temporary but many are still there, without jobs, money, or food.  In the past year some have been able to transition out of tents and into small houses that Habitat for Humanity has built.  But, some are still living in tents.  My team fell in love with the people here, they are amazing and have so much love to offer.  We all left a piece of our hearts there.  Below is a picture of my girl, Cecilia.  She is 14 and so smart!  She would walk around with me every time I visited, act as my translator, teach me songs and Swahili phrases, write me notes, she was incredible.  Enjoy the video and see a glimpse of those we fell in love with.
