2 Things
1. We do not have internet where we are staying and the closet internet is about 20 minutes away so I will not be posting many, if any blogs these next couple of weeks or checking me email. But when August rolls around just you wait- blogs will just be popping out left and right.
2. I was planning on posting 3 blogs today from the past few weeks at the internet cafe but I am an idiot and forgot that my external hardrive doesn´t work on PCs and of course every internet cafe only has PCs……therefore instead of 3 interesting, fun, personal blogs you get this one. Lo siento (Spanish for I´m sorry).
I am currently in Nicaragua on the Island of Ometepe (spelling may or may not be correct) living and working at a small orphanage, Cicrin Ministries. We arrived at the orphanage on Monday, July 13th. Before that we were in Antigua, Guatemala for 5 nights, San Salvador, El Salvador for 2 nights, Jinotepe, Nicaragua for 1 night and a hostel on the island for 3 nights. The orphanage was not ready to host us until the 13th so we took our time getting there. For about two weeks we will be here doing construction (mixing cement-beep beep!) and hopefully interacting with the kids.
There is a quick little update for all of you out there who have been dying to know what I´ve been up to…..pray that next time I won´t be an idiot and put all my blogs on my external…….
