Colossians 4:5-6
Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
I don’t think it has hit me yet that this is all really happening. In ten short but very long months, I will be embarking on an adventure of a lifetime. Graduating college is already an adventure, but moving out of the country for eleven months on top of that can often times be overwhelming. But God is still so good! He has continuously been proving that I am still walking on the right path through the people I meet, the conversations I have, and the Scripture I read. Jesus is holding my hand through it all and I have never been more grateful. Colossians 4:1-6 is a prayer that I believe every believer should keep in their hearts. It has been my prayer the past couple weeks not only for the future, but also in my everyday life. I want everyone to know who I stand for and what I believe not only by my speech, but also my actions.
I am so excited for God to continue to grow and prepare me over the next ten months for my exciting adventure I am soon beginning. I pray that while I am growing you are as well. Please be in prayer for not only me, but also my teammates who I have not yet met. Pray that our strength, joy, and peace continually increase and we will continue to live for Christ now, just as we will on the mission field.
