How To Be Challenged On The Race 101:
1. Go on the Race.
2. Have a team on the Race.
3. Go to a foreign country with your team on the Race.
4. Debrief the Race thus far.
5. Talk to your Squad Mentor & Coaches on the Race
6. Have a “date” with your Squad Leaders on the Race.
7. Talk to your Creator on the Race. (Every good Father gives good feedback.)
8. Be vulnerable on the Race.
9. Do the unthinkable and uncomfortable on the Race.
10. Have NO expectations on the Race.
11. Be 100% you and who He has created you to be on the Race.
These may seem logical and expected steps to take on the Race, but for me it’s been difficult at times. [Yes, even going to another foreign country.] Our Creator has given me opportunity to do all of these things, but I can’t say I’ve taken every opportunity wholly. I’m still learning and being challenged everyday.
This past Sunday, He told me to preach…again. (Like father, like daughter I guess!) I had the honor to preach our first Sunday in Malawi and our last Sunday in Malawi! How incredible?! The word that God gave me was about being challenged in our faith. I believe He was not only challenging me in my faith, as far as how much I truly believe in Him, but my faith on the Race. Have I actually given this Race to Him? Have I let myself learn and take His feedback? Have I listened enough?
Malawi has been such a free country for us. The people here have welcomed us all with open arms and warm hearts. We have truly been blessed by being able to come here. This is a heartbreaking goodbye, for sure. But, I’ve learned from a good friend that if you miss someone or something, be thankful! That means God has given you something precious and worth missing!
Thank you all for the unfailing prayers! Our team and squad truly appreciates them!
Thank you to everyone who came out to the yard sale!! I met my goal of having $11,000 and then some! Let me tell you guys, OUR GOD IS AWESOME! Jehovah Jireh–our provider. Thank you Jesus!
Please consider continuing to donate to my Race. My next goal is to be fully by January 1st. Know that God will bless every donation pouring in. You guys are awesome!
