Wow! What a crazy holiday season! I’ve been on the go since Dec 5th! Haha
I’ve been trying to spend as much time as possible with those I care about because next year I’ll be with my new, World Race family!
It’s going to be hard being away from everyone I love and cherish. It’s going to be difficult to not have the luxury of picking up a phone and calling whoever I want, whenever I want. However, this is an opportunity of a lifetime!

I know you’ve heard about my passion and calling to go on this trip, but that’s not the only reason–though the most important. Another reason it is so incredibly necessary for me to go on this trip is the simple fact that I want to. I want to go and be used. I want to be a piece of something bigger than myself. I want to be put in hard situations where I cannot lean on my own understanding. I want to work with people I’ve never met before and have to trust. I want Jesus to radically change me.
I also want there to be a difference for me when I get back. I want my family & friends to see something different.
