Hi friends!

I just wanted to give you guys a quick update about where I’m at in the process of prepping for the Race.

We’re something like 216 days away from launch on October 2nd!

We’ve also officially been informed that our first month of ministry will begin in India, and this is something that I can’t even really begin to wrap my brain around.

“Oh, hey, no big deal- I’ll just casually be flying to India this October….”

(Also. It keeps hitting me in waves. INDIA…. India…. Innnnnnndia…. INDIAAAAAAAA….. India…. INDIA!!!)

The countdown has officially begun, now, and the pressure is on to start raising the money and getting all the preparations complete!

I’m almost done with the final draft of my support letter, and am hoping to get them all stamped and addressed and sent out by the 5th of March.

I failed to mention in my last blog update that I have a primary deadline of July 22nd to raise the first $5,000 for my trip, or else we say goodbye to this whole idea and spend a good amount of time crying in the corner. And by we, I mean, of course, me. Although you’re welcome to join me in the unfortunate case that should happen. #cryfest2016

Let’s really try to avoid that scenario, though, shall we? Because, I’m going to be real with you all, my cry face is super ugly. Nobody should have to see that. Especially not you.

So dear friends and loved ones, if you have at all thought, even for one second, over the past several weeks, “Hey, maybe I should partner with Hannah and send a few bucks her way for this trip,” Please don’t hesitate any longer!

Send me your address through Facebook chat, text, post-card, good old-fashioned phone-call, or, again, carrier pigeons, and I would be more than happy to include your name on my list of recipients for the support letters. They’re also gonna come with a super cool prayer card which will feature the corresponding countries with the months we’ll be staying in them so you can stick it on your fridge and send us lots of prayers and good vibes whenever you see it.

There is also a direct link at the top of my blog that says “Support me!” In which you can click to donate directly, if you’re more into the quick-and-easy thing.

(That being said, please allow me to take the time to send an immensely heartfelt THANK. YOU. to the anonymous donor who blessed me last week with the first donation! Whoever you are: thank you for being so kind and for sharing in this journey with me!)

I should also mention that any and all donations to the WR are tax-deductible. So if that doesn’t whet your appetite, I don’t know what will. #taxwriteoff2016

Again. I love you all and am so thankful for the support you’ve already shown me thus far!

Love and hugs and all the chocolate chips in the world,

Hannah
