What a day it was.
What a day I had.
Two years ago today I tore my ACL
and I was mad.
What a day it was.
What a day I had.
I was living a life I never thought I’d have.
My heart was full and my life was good.
Until the day that was taken away.
A sense of security stripped from my hands.
My heart was empty and my life was a wreck.
What a day it was.
What a day I had.
A year ago today I tore my ACL
and I was glad.
I walked through so much suffering
and held on to His hand.
I fell at His feet ready to go through fire again.
Until the day He touched me with healing in His hands.
What a day it was.
What a day I had.
What a day it is.
What a day I’ve had.
Today I find myself broken again.
And I’m not mad.
Because He, He has shown me.
And He, He will heal me.
What a day it will be.
And what a day I will have.
I’ll look back on my year and see everything He has done for me.
What a day it is.
What a day I have had.
Celebrating moments of brokeness.
Broken moments that brought deep healing.
