I have spent four months, been on two continents, and in 5 countries with my Pearls. In honor of our team since we have team changes next week, I want to write a blog about us.

What I love about my team:

-We are a big “family”–a group of sisters. We love each other, tease each other mercilessly, cry with each other, pray for each other, hang out together, exhort each other, laugh until we cry, share the little and big things that matter to us, and so much more. We just love spending time together.

-We serve each other and love each other well. We all chip in for keeping up the cleaning. We all try to love each other how each person is specifically loved from cuddles to cookie dough. We respect each other. We are just generally always free to help with pretty much anything.

-Anywhere we go, our team has the ability to make it a “home.” Between keeping it clean, our love for each other, bringing in flowers, or whatever-we make our housing a homey place.

-In our strengths and gifts, have taught each other so much. Some are those who love to serve, so we learn how to serve. Others love to give, so we learn how to give more. Others have a real intimate relationship with the Lord–we are able to follow their example. We have taught each other so much fun.

-We are a team who prays. Not just at meals, but also when one of us is sick. And we have had some times where we simply pray together “pop-corn style” for 30 minutes to an hour.

-We are a quirky and funny team!

What they have taught me:

-They have taught me practical ways on how to have a relationship with Jesus with quiet time and what that can look like.

-They have taught me prayer is important and powerful.

-They’ve taught me on how to handle conflift.

-How to always love someone.

-How to be different, but be a family.

-And so much more.

I love my pearls. Every girl is different and unique. They all have brilliant personalities.
