This blog is dedicated to our ministry hosts, our friends, and our adopted families that we leave behind in each country and those that we have to say some tough goodbyes to.

First, I want to say thank you!

Thank you:

For allowing us to partner with you and your ministry.

For sharing your culture with us and teaching us about it.

For teaching us about what you know about God and life.

For inviting us in like family.

For taking us to the doctor when we get sick.

For living life with us: From getting coffee with us, to letting us share about our families/stories, from laughing with us to crying with us, from bringing us to cool places in your country, to sharing things we have seen on Youtube, to having intense conversations about what God is doing in each other’s lives and what we are all learning, and swapping testimonies, and so many other things.
For BEING our friends and family all the way across the world.

I want you know from me personally:

You are appreciated.

I do miss you and I won’t forget you.

You are my friends and family now.

You have made an impact on me and taught me so much whether you realize it or not.

I have had so much fun on the adventures we have had and have so much appreciated your friendship and the conversations that went with that.

That these may be words, but they are all true.

And please know that saying goodbye at the end of every country we leave is one of THE hardest things that we as Racers have to do because we meet so many wonderful people. Leaving you behind and not getting to live life with you by your side and not getting to see what God is doing in your life as it’s happening breaks my heart. But I am so thankful I got to meet you and I know that God is walking with you wherever He is taking you. May the Lord bless you and keep you and please stay in touch.
