Welcome to what my average day looks like this month. The pictures are a compilation of a couple days because I forgot to take some pictures, but this about what it can look like.

This week Maggie and I were accountability partners, so we get up at 7:30 am to walk on the beach. We would talk about life, our goals for the week/month, and also work on the memory ver$se our team is memorizing together (1 P3t3r: 4:7-11).

Maggie and I would see some great things on our walks like this breath-taking flower or the mountains on the beach that would be clear in the morning. Also, these are the same mountains you can see in some Vietnam War photos of when our military men were coming to Vietnam for the first time (google it…)

Also, this week my G0d time looked a little different. This time I went to breakfast (which was so good) and did my usual reading from M@rk, but I also began pr@y3r journaling via my computer some thoughts I had. It was so good.

I also had some free time after that, so I started working on a blog. The life of a racer: writing blogs. We need to post about 2 a week so the one you see here was the blog before this one.

And then around 1 or 2 (depending on how English clubs are), we do a team B!b|3 study. We are currently going through R0m@ns together. A chapter each day.

Most days we do team time at ten, but sometimes we have to change our schedule. We do feedback (calling each other up and encouraging each other in our strengths), check-ins (how is everyone feeling), and then some other thing. This day we watched Mulan as a team.

And we can’t forget launch! This is a patty melt I got from a restaurant called the Surf Shack. I go there probably every other day for lunch or dinner and either get this or a burger. It’s pretty cheap–about 60,000 dong (or about less than $3) for this sandwhich or a burger with fries.

I try and go walking once to twice a day on the beach since we have it. So if I have a bit of free time or in the evening I’ll go. It’s so cool to see the ocean, jellyfish washed up, seashells and crabs, and to people watch. Plus, it’s a great workout and a great time to reflect/talk to G0d.

Here my teammate Saraya and I got bubble tea on our “treasure hunt.” As I talked in my last blog, if you have a lot of time in a month, sometime you need to make your own m!n!stry. So, Saturdays we do listening pr@y3r and then go see where G0d takes us. Saraya and I walked on the beach looking for opportunities, grabbed some bubble tea, pr@y3d quietly for strangers as we passed, and ran into a girl that I have met before that G0d put back in my life to build a relationship with. It was a really neat time with Saraya.

And then we can’t forget about dinner! Sometimes it is just ramen. I also have been getting this fish ice cream. Although, they have run out of the chocolate so I buy the red bean one. It’s so good.

And then off to m!n!stry! This month it is tutoring college students in English. So we help them with pronunciation, just general communicating, etc.

One day, I just had one student for English club. Her English is decent, so I helped with some basic stuff. We talked about colors, things we liked, and the names of different body parts. She is so precious and adorable. At the end of club, we also got to talk to her about the Perfect man who di3d for her. Please pray for her and our other students that they come to b3l!3v3 in the truth about G0d.

And then some moments/evenings you have some down time. Here I am being silly with my tea, ramen, and watching one of my favorite movies, P.S. I Love You.
