The day began at 5:30am… still groggy and thinking about sleep, we ventured out of our house and into the streets of Nepal, one thing pushing us step by step: Anticipation.

You see, we had something pretty amazing planned for this Valentine's day.

We got into a van and drove for about 45 minutes until we arrived at the airport. After making our way through security, picking up our boarding passes, and grabbing a cup of Nepalese coffee, we sat at Gate 1 awaiting our adventure on the Everest Express.

Yeah, you read that right… Everest.

It was an amazing morning with the girls on my team and as we returned home a few hours later we spoke of it as "The best Valentine's day ever," thinking that it couldn't get much better than that.

But then… it did.

We went about our usual work day, building websites, writing teaching material, editing pictures… and then at four o'clock it all began.

Austin and Ryan had left a note behind and were long gone.

"Dear Gentlewomen…"

This note told us to get dressed up and head to the resort down the road. We were told to order coffee and wait for the next note. This began an evening of notes (all full of the typical humor of our guys) and surprises, ending in dinner with the whole team.

I've never had anything done for me like this. We ended the evening feeling honored, loved, and spoiled! We laughed and we cried, it was an amazing night.

Altogether, I'd say that this Valentine's Day has been the best I've ever had.
Good luck future Valentines.
