It's something I dreaded the first time around. When word came that team changes were coming again, I had butterflies in my stomach. What is to come? Will I still be on the same team… or would I once again be subject to change?
In the following days the Lord filled me with such peace about the upcoming changes. Though they promised the changes would be small and there was a chance I'd stay put… I had the overwhelming feeling that it wouldn't be so for me.
And I was right. The day came. We arrived in Hyderabad, India, where we would stay for under 24 hours before flying out and they were setting up meetings with everyone to inform them of the change that would be coming. My meeting came and they confirmed my suspicion. Two months ago the same words rocked me to the core. This time… As my squad leader said, "You will be changing teams." I smiled, feeling peace in what the Lord was doing.
So there it is, I was the one person to leave "Team Granola." I said goodbye to my teammates as I shifted to my new team.
