Hello! Hola! Selam! Chum reap suor! Hey Y’all!
Being born in south Georgia and raised in east Mississippi, I have quite the southern drawl (or, ‘southern charm’ as mi madre’ calls it).
After the longest 12 years of my life, Senior Year has finally arrived! I have been homeschooled since 6th grade. This year, I am dual enrolled with a local community college, earning the last of my high school credits while I also earn college credit. Homeschooling has allowed my family and me the flexibility to participate in missions and mission trips throughout the years.
Since I was a little gal, my family has been involved in missions — my parents even met on a summer mission trip! Over the years, my love for serving Jesus by serving others has grown. I vividly remember the moment I sensed God calling me to missions and the moment I said “Yes.” (More about that in another blog post — coming soon!)
God has opened doors for me to various mission opportunities throughout the years, and I’ve followed Him through each one. He’s now opened the door to the World Race Gap Year 2018. It is a 9 month mission trip to 3 continents (#3n9). I am following Him to Costa Rica, Ethiopia, and Cambodia.
I would greatly appreciate your prayers, love, encouragement, and support as I prepare for my September 2018 launch and as HE loves the world through me during my World Race Gap Year journey.
Loving Jesus, sweet tea, fried rice, Bible journaling, fishing with my Poppy, make-up, beach trips, naps, and making HIM known as I journey Home,
<3 Hannah Coops
