Hi!

My name is Hannah. I just graduated from Brenau University with a B.A in Theatre. Brenau is a small women’s college in Gainesville, Ga. It was an amazing experience and I gained friendships and values that will last me a lifetime; I am excited to start the next part of my life’s journey and to see what God has in store for me!

I am a truly blessed individual and I want to take the gifts God has given me and find ways to give back. My family and friends are two of the most important things in my life, I could not have gotten where I am without them. I have amazing and supportive parents, they are there to help me learn from my mistakes and to share in my triumphs.  The same can be said for my sorority sisters. All of my sisters have made a huge impact of my life and I know that I can call on them no matter what. They never fail to make me laugh, to pick me up when I am down, and to push me to be better! I hope to take all the lessons I took from living and working with them and apply it to my journey on The World Race, I know it will make me a better racer.

I love working with children, I spent this past year teaching Drama afterschool to fourth and fifth graders. I loved my class, it almost always the very best part of my week! I miss it now that I am living back at home and hope to have many opportunities to work with young people on The World Race.
I have never blogged before, but I have lots of ideas for new posts so I hope everyone enjoys them! I do believe the next one I will write is how I discovered the World Race, because I think that’s an awesome story!

Here are a few fun facts about me to round out my first post!
1.     I love music and I am constantly updating my itunes. I am always open to suggestions J
2.    I greatly dislike ladybugs and balloons make me nervous.
3.    I love to laugh and laugh loudly.
4.    I am pretty bad with technology so this blog is going to be a fun and interesting challenge.
5.    I believe that God has a plan for all of us, and I can’t wait to find out what he has in store for me.
