Door to Door ministry…struggle bus…
So the ministry that I was praying and praying that I would never ever ever ever have to do was door to door ministry (you go knock on people’s doors and tell them about Jesus) and guess what I’m doing in my first country……………………door to door ministry! Ha ha ha, God.
So the first couple of days were rough…like holding back tears rough. Just because I don’t really believe in door to door ministry and I’m not the type of person to start out a conversation “Hi! Wanna learn about Jesus?!” but I’m getting more comfortable with it and I’m finding out that it’s not all about sharing the word of God, it’s about building relationships with these people.

A little boy named Arvin who came to our worship service. Arvin. lol such a precious little name.
Our translator Ronnie kind of put it into perspective for me the other night-he told us that if we don’t go door to door and befriend these people and teach them a little bit about the bible and Jesus, then they’ll never know. Which once I thought about it was true…I mean these people live up in the mountains in a “town” with 20 houses in them…and going door to door has actually started becoming fun. And who am I to say how I am supposed to share God’s love-it’s all about being obedient right? Even if it’s hard.
