Hello all,
Sorry it's taken me so long to post something since arriving in Ireland! We've been busy and not all at once. Time is a weird thing here that we can't seem to get a grasp on. It just seems to fly by without us ever knowing where it went. Yes, Ireland is as beautiful as all of the pictures! Today, the Pastor of Discovery Church – the one we are working with – took us to an abbey which is supposed to be the best preserved abbey in all of Europe. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen!

The people here are absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so generous and hospitable! We came to Ireland expecting to tent all month right on the coast. Instead, we stayed with a brilliant family and have now moved into a house we have to ourselves! It has been a lot colder here than we expected so we couldn't have been more blessed by the people opening up their homes to us and constantly providing us with the most delicious meals! I'm just blown away with how intensely God has blessed us this month!!!
I was talking with the Pastor today on our way home about different mission fields and what it is like in Ireland. He said there are more Christians today in Africa and Asia than in Europe. Isn't that crazy??? I think most of us just assume the need is greater in 3rd world countries. I wholeheartedly believe there IS a need in both, but it's just SO easy to forget how badly Europe needs missionaries as well! In the way of ministry, we have been painting fools this month!! By the time this is up we will probably all be professionals! 😉 We are partnering with Discovery Church in something called Adopt a Neighborhood. The neighborhood we work with is filled mostly with elderly people, so we have been painting their houses trying to just be an encouragement in their life. Every person we have come into contact with in that neighborhood has been overly hospitable and completely grateful.
Please be in prayers for the church in Ireland, Discovery Church, and my financial support! I'd love to hear from you as well! I hope your lives are filled with as much grace and laughter as mine as been filled with! With Love,
