Route Update: We got route changes!! Here are the new 11: Guatemala, Nicaragua, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, Botswana, Swaziland, Ukraine, and Albania. WOW!!! I couldn’t be more excited!
I am leaving the USA tomorrow early morning people!!!! Bahhh!!! This picture is of my team, Team Reptar. We will do life together, living in community, for the next 11 months. These women are such a blessing to me and inspire me each day to be the best version of myself I can be. They inspire me to have a positive attitude when I don’t want to, heal the parts of me that are still too tender to bring forth, and to find joy in being myself. They help me see my true identity.
Beth: She has on the glasses and headband! She is our team leader and couldn’t be funnier! She is so driven and passionate about Jesus and inspires me to be outward with my love for Jesus. She allows and encourages me to speak openly about my passion for Christ, something I am not yet used to.
Margot: She is right on top of Beth’s head. She is my wild and sassy southern belle. She brings laughter to my soul and heals my heart in a way that is so necessary. Her heart and joy bring life to me each and every day.
Laura: She is in the middle. I love Laura. She brings to the table a way of thinking that is so kind hearted and fresh. She is so wonderfully different for everyone, and the way she walks in her own skin is a sight to see. She is very athletic and I am so thankful to have someone on the team to motivate me in that way!!
Anna: She is top middle. Anna is our writer. She carries herself with such honor and wisdom. She truly has an incredible testimony and I am so excited to see how that unfolds in her ministry. She is such an asset to this team because she brings vulnerability to the table, she opens the doors for us to trust because she goes first.
Kendra: She is top left. Oh, Kendra… She is absolutely royal. Sometimes I watch her, not in a creepy way hahaha!!, admiring her ability to own a room when she enters. The interesting part about her is even though she oozes royalty, she is the most humble person I have ever met. I am excited to learn from her and have her as a sister on the World Race. ……She has so much to teach me….
These women will shape me, challenge me, and heal me. They will be the sound board for my confessions and the bandages for my wounds. They will be my sisters in Christ, and for that I am truly honored.
