SHIRTS ARE READY!!!!!!!!!!!!

You might be looking at the shirt thinking, “WOW THAT’S SO COOL!” but then also “BUT WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?” So, a little explanation is in order; let’s sit down so I can tell you the story behind this thing.

Mission trip shirts have a certain knack for being cheesier than Chuck E. himself. They just are. And a lot of times they have ALL THE THINGS going on. Cause you need where you’re going, who you’re going with, a cool graphic, a bible verse, and so on and so forth. So, then everyone buys it because they love you and the shirt is FINE, but a year down the road they’re cleaning our their t-shirt drawer and find your shirt smooshed in the back corner, only worn once to that one fundraiser you held.

Mhmm, we all know the drill. So I was thinking, there’s very little point in doing a shirt that no one will wear. There are plenty of other fundraising ideas out there to choose from. But the cool part about doing a shirt is that if people actually wear it, it’s such an awesome reminder to be praying for that person (me) and his or her team (The World Race).

I wanted a nice, comfy shirt you will all want on your torso everyday of your life. Enter: Comfort Colors.

The front of the shirt has what looks like some sort of ancient caveman writing. That, my friends, is the tattoo I have been wanting for a while now. It means “God is greater than the highs and the lows”. God is better than any mountain top experience or any time spent in the trenches. That is a truth we must continually cling to, understanding that we are blessed beyond measure, no matter the circumstance. I’ll be getting that at some point (TBD), so that’ll be really cool to have that on the shirts we’ll all be wearing!

The back is just a cool globe design with The World Race underneath it. Jeremiah 20:12 is my verse for this adventure: “…for to You I have committed my cause.” I am all in for the Lord’s glory and that verse just says it nicely, don’t you think?

SO! The shirts will be $20 a piece. If you don’t live in Lubbock and need them mailed to you, it will be $25! The thing is, the more shirts I pre-order, the more money from each can go towards my trip. My goal is to sell 100 t-shirts in the next week. I know, that sounds like a lot. But that’s only like 1/10th of my Facebook friends, so we should be able to knock this out no problem! If I sell 100 shirts, that will be OVER $1,000 towards The World Race!!

SO BUY A SHIRT!!!!

Ways to pay:

1. Write a check made out to me

2. Give me cash

3. Pay online using my paypal account (for this option, let me know you’d like to pay online and I can send you an invoice for however many shirts you’d like!)

I need to let my t shirt guy know sizes by May 7th. THAT’S NOT A LOT OF DAYS! I know it’s quick, but people are leaving town and making the thing took a bit longer than I anticipated, what with life throwing it’s curveballs left and right. I will be in San Antonio in June for you San Antonio people, so you’d don’t have to pay for shipping.

**** IF YOU NEED ME TO MAIL YOUR SHIRT(S): tell me your size, email address, and mailing address. I’ll need your email to send you the invoice and your address to mail the shirt to you once I get them!

YAAAYYY FUNDRAISING AND FOR SUPPORT FROM FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!!!
