11 things that I have learned in Ethiopia!
1. Hold the shoulder..kick the shin. no questions asked
2. Pay no more than 4 birr for a doughnut.. ever!
3. No Zebra (cross walk) no cross does not apply when playing human frogger!
4. You can get "married" several times in one day
5. Where there is good coffee and free WiFi there will be racers.
6. You are not always guaranteed a shower everyday…or every 5 days
7. You will get pulled off a taxi at one point in time and have no clue why
8. People will say "this way" and not really even point to a this way in the craziest taxi rink ever!
9. Amharic is a beautiful language, and everything sounds so powerful!
10. I have a lot of feedback for the fleas… it is neither constructive nor encouraging! 🙂
11. You will meet some pretty incredible people everywhere you go in this country and you will not want to leave!
Ethiopia is such a wonderful country, the people here are so inviting and so incredibly friendly! There is good coffee everywhere you go, and with that coffee comes incredible conversation! God is at work in this country and I am really excited to see how He continues to work!
