What is it about love that makes us weak in the knees?
We love to hear about it, we love to watch it, and we love to be apart of it.
When it happens to us we pour all that we are into that one person, that one thing that we think that we cannot live without. But than with that love comes heartache, that person or that thing that we thought we couldn't live without is gone and what are we left with? What is left of that love that we thought that was so unconditional and never-ending?
We are His beloved
This word keeps coming back to me time and time again…
What I have come to realize is that God is that love for me… I want so much to love someone and be loved in return, but I don't look to the one that loved me from the beginning. Jesus died on the cross for me because he loved me so incredibly much!
That unconditional love that we crave is possible through Him!
What if we sought out his love first before anything?
If I find myself in Him than everything else fades away.
I cant help but smile when I think of the creator of the world thinking of me as His beloved, I find my joy and my hope in Him!
Psalm 13: 5,6
"But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord for he has been good to me."
