The Lord shows up and speaks truth in some pretty great ways.

Ever since I started this journey my runs have become my quiet time with the Lord. I use that time to process and just try to pound it out on the pavement. Those quiet times until recently were pretty forgotten about and just postponed to the next day… than to the next.. you get the point. Than training camp happened…

Training camp was probably by far the best/hardest week of my life, it brought up past hurt but also with that hurt it brought healing. I felt a peace and just an overwhelming love of the Father, I am not my past mistakes, and I am not what others think of me. Since being back it is so easy to lose sight of that peace and that understanding of who He says that we are in him. Temptations, earthly desires, fear and trials of the world come back and smack us in the face. The world tries to discourage us with magazines, self image, the latest relationships… so on and so on. To be honest that is what I was really struggling with.. not feeling the same peace that I felt when I was out of my everyday settings. It had me frustrated and angry, and doubting everything that HE says that I am…

The Lord shows up and speaks truth in some pretty great ways…. I was reminded of that through the simplicity of a song on  a run.

I am who HE says I am… but not only that

We are who He says we are!

That is my prayer for not only myself but for my squad and every squad that is in the process of getting ready to launch.

Chains are broken

scales are on the floor,

truth is spoken..

We are not orphans anymore.

We are LOVED

We are NEW

We are FREE

We are not slaves to sin

We are Righteous

We are ALIVE

We are ALL that He says we are!

We are all set free in Him, we are His sons and daughters brought together for the common cause of spreading of his love!
