Have you ever laid in bed thinking you weren’t good enough? Maybe crying over how hard life has gotten and it just seems so unbearable and unfair? Maybe your going through a trail you think you just can’t get through. Don’t worry, you’re not alone.
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
“So do not fear, for I am with you;? do not be dismayed, for I am your God.?I will strengthen you and help you;? I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
In this bible verse God is assuring us that we should never fear, we are not alone. It’s in our lowest moments of our lives that God will show us that He really is our help in times of trouble, He really is our comforter in times of sadness. God puts us through trials in our lives to strengthen us!
I too, can personally vouch for this verse being so amazingly true. It was during my weakest moment that God truly showed me he is there for the hard times and the good times. As an 18 year old girl, we all go through things that change our lives forever. Maybe it’s boys, the loss of a best friend, the loss of a whole group of friends, or all of them combined. For me, it was all of them. I was so unhappy in who I was, that I was grouchy all the time and I didn’t care about what God thought of me, I was done with everything. One morning at church the pastor was preaching on “Get up. Get out. Get free. ” It was in that moment I realized boys and friends were just a temporary thing. The same people will not be in your life forever, we may want them to but they are not. That morning God showed me he was there, holding my hand as I walked down the isle to dedicate my life to him.
Every trial happens for a reason, and each trail you come out of shows how truly amazing God is.
