One of the major  things I’ve learned through the World Race that I can’t live this crazy life alone…as much as I think (and usually act) like I can. I like to handle things myself. I like to be independent. Needing other people always meant that I was weak. As I sit here at the end of this experience, I realize just how wrong I was. I couldn’t have done this without you.

How do I even begin to say thank you for supporting me this year?

In terms of financial support, I’m constantly reminded of the widow’s offering. Many of you donated far more generously than your income “should” have justified. You gave out of love, out of faith. I”ve been blown away that over half of my financial supporters were people that  I didn’t even approach about donating. You truly have been the example of the Body of Christ.

Thank you for the blog comments. Blogging has been such a huge part of my ministry this year, and the responses were such great reminders that you were still there with me.

Above all, thank you for the prayers. There’s no doubt that they’ve had such an impact on my life.

Yesterday was our last day of official ministry on the Race. We’re now in Bangkok and will head to Hua Hin tomorrow to begin final debrief. I’ll be home in less than a week. I can’t believe it. I hope you enjoy a small video I put together to give you a small glimpse into this past year. More blogs to come soon!
