Seven tents have perished thanks to the Irish winds, and about 75% of us have been sick at some point – but we’re still going strong. We finished up our last official day of ministry yesterday. The month has flown by, but I’m getting used to this new way of life. I find my sleeping bag very comfortable now. I’ve had 4 showers since arriving in Ireland. I’ve alternated 2 pairs of pants and 7 shirts – we’ve done laundry once. Hopefully tomorrow will be a laundry day, too. I don’t have a choice in most meals I eat, but I’m trying to get over my extreme pickyness. I’m learning to take God out of the box that I’ve placed Him in for so long. I’m better able to see the things I take for granted – like free showers…and sleeping late…and going to see movies…and Coke. I’m learning discipline, and I like it. Most of the time.

This afternoon we will be treated with an Irish dancing party here at the church. I’ll let you know how that goes. Friday was our day off, so we traveled to the Cliffs of Moher. I was completely blown away…literally. The wind was so strong on top of the cliff that we could lean backward and forward and not fall down. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was gorgeous!

We leave Ireland on Tuesday and head to Romania. Team Silas will be living in a house with a Romanian family and working with a gypsy community, along with Team Unwritten. I’m excited to see what God has in store for us next month. I know this was a short post, but I’m working on a video to encompass all the crazy things I don’t have time to type. Please pray for us as we pack up (a haunting task) and move on to Romania. Grace and peace.
