Going into my first month on The World Race I prepared myself for the worst. I expected no bathroom, no shower, limited wifi, 2 beds for 7of us and to be sleeping on my sleeping pad the entire month. I however, learned to once again put all expectations aside.
There is WIFI, there is a bathroom with a toilet and a shower, there are beds for all of us, there is a kitchen so we can cook, and a washer and a dryer to do laundry. On top of that we have this amazing view!
God shattered my expectations for this month! Yesterday when I arrived here in Lezhe and found we were blessed with all this I just wanted to cry tears of joy! We have also had the first couple days off to just relax. It has been great getting to know the people on my team more as well as just exploring the city and being able to test out a few Albanian words I have learned. To top it all of off our hosts are amazing! As well as, the staff that work here at the center.
I am looking forward to starting the ministry here in a couple days and I am excited to see how God is going to move while we are here!
