I have been checking in with few of my squad-mates this past week/weekend to see how they have been doing with fundraising. I noticed that fundraising has been getting really tough for my squad this month. I am not sure what it is, but this month, discouragement is really getting to a lot of us.

Because of that, I have been really praying for them this past weekend. Praying that the Lord will give them joy over fundraising and really stretch them into leaning towards God even more during this time. I have been praying that He will give them the energy to be patience and be in peace with His timing. Praying that He will give them courage rather than discouragement. I have been praying that the Lord will show his love to them during this frustration time. Praying that He will allow them see the light and beauty of this.

Dear V Squad,
I know that fundraising can seem very frustrating and confusing at times. I know that it can make you feel annoyed and angry. I know that it makes you want to give up at times. I know that it can make you feel discouraged. Despite of all that, there are the goods in this fundraising process. It allows you to open up more to strangers. It allows you to learn to lean on God even more. It allows you to be uncomfortable and embracing that. It allows you to share the word of Jesus and His Kingdom. It allows you to feel joy once you see how much the Lord has been providing. It allows you to bond with your squad-mates even more. It allows you to shine your light and your purpose. Know that He will provide. God has a different path for each, every one of you, whether you are ahead of the process or behind the process, He will get you there. To Him, you are beautifully special and unique. You are HIS child. He IS your Father. He will not let you down. I am going to keep praying for each, every one of you. Together we can do this. Together we WILL reach our goals and become fully funded. Together we will form deep rare bonds and become an amazing, beautiful family.
I love you all and I can’t wait to hug you all in TWENTY TWO DAYS!!

God Bless,
Haley Miller

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
