Hello, everyone! My name is Haley Marshall. I was raised in Mabank, Texas but have spent the last 5 years in Nacogdoches, Texas. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in May of 2016 with a degree in English and Religious Studies and this past year I have worked as a high school English teacher during the day and a Pizza Hut delivery driver at night.
I spend way too much of my time and money at my local coffee shop but that’s where the conversation is and well, coffee… You can almost always find me with my head in a book, whether it’s a novel or my journal. Dr. Pepper is my drink of choice. I have an obsession with rainy days. I’m forever searching for somewhere to hang my hammock. I could live in an oversized hoodie. I have a huge heart for kids. I hold my breath when I watch space movies or movies where people are underwater. My personality test revealed me to be INTJ – sounds about right. My family is my biggest support system. I have a cat named Avery but I consider myself a dog person. Mac n cheese is my favorite food group. And I am so very excited to be a part of the World Race and to see how God works over this next year.
