We’re sitting here in the Atlanta airport getting ready to fly out for our journey! We will be going from Chicago to Istanbul to Belgrade. It has been a long few days and I think we are all ready to get out in the world and do the thing we’ve been talking about for so long. Saying good byes were a little harder than I thought, but I had to remember that there is so much more ahead to look forward to. I am excited for the change that is going to happen in me, and for what The Lord is going to do in my family and friends back home. One of the exciting, yet scary things for me for this next year is I will come home and that people will either be in the same place they were when I left them or they will be in a new phase of life. It’s all about perspective, but I pray that this is a year of growth in everyone’s life around me back home.
