The time has come! I leave for Atlanta in the morning for some more training and then off to Bolivia on Thursday! This time has just flown by and I can’t believe launch is already here. This time next week I’ll be in El Alto, Bolivia (the highest metropolitan city in the world) with 11 other girls from my squad helping the organization Word Made Flesh (http://www.wordmadeflesh.org/). If you asked me this time last year what I thought I’d be doing in a year, going on the World Race would have never crossed my mind. The Lord works in mysterious ways, and it certainly was an interesting path that He took me on to get to this point, but man has it been worth it. There is nothing else in the world I could think of that I’d rather be doing than going out into the world sharing the Good News, helping others, expanding on my faith, and seeing many different countries and cultures along the way! God is AWESOME. There were definitely times during this past year when I just had no idea what was going on, why God was taking me in so many different directions, why there was so much confusion about my next steps, etc… Now I can see so clearly what He was doing and that He has a plan, a GREAT plan. Never give up, just trust in Him no matter what your current circumstances may be, just believe He will get you through them and that His plan is the ultimate one and He’s got your back.
