We were challenged today to break up into small groups of about four people. We were to have one of the group members ask to be prayed for about something. The other three people, including me, asked our friend what we could pray about. The prayer exercise challenged us to listen to God about what He wanted us to pray for. I am still practicing being able to listen to God’s voice and hear His direction like in John 10:27 when Jesus says “my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”. Today though, I really saw God speak to the three girls in my group and we were able to give wisdom to our friend needing prayer. I am learning that there is truth behind the verses in the bible talking about God answering our prayers. When we have faith, God reveals himself.
