Hard core truth
Are you really walking the path the Lord has set you apart to live? Are you walking in obedience to serve the purpose that only you can serve? The purpose you were created for?
In America we let day by day pass us by with the business of school, work, sporting events, church- yes even church can be a distraction and keep us busy from having intimate time with The Lord. While none of these things are bad at all- are they getting in the way of the true calling The Lord has for us? We are called to Love The Lord our God with all our heart soul mind and strength and TO LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR AS WE LOVE OURSELVES-
Why aren't we doing this?!
If we were truly loving our neighbors as ourselves we wouldn't have brothers and sisters dying all over the world minute to minute from starvation. While we sit in church on Sunday mornings with big lights, bands, nice comfy seats, and the comfort of free worship- there are people dying all over the world from preventable diseases. The Lord has called us to care for our brothers and sisters and to go into ALL nations making disciples. Whether it be in America or the poorest of poor third world country- we are called to go- is it really important to have big buildings with huge stages and big lights to put on a performance- with all the money that the churches of America put into buildings- it could save thousands of lives on a daily basis of our brothers and sisters that we are called to prefer over ourselves.
We as the church of America comfortably turn our eyes to our hurting brothers and sisters daily dying- we make ourselves feel okay because we contribute money to someone going to serve or even go on an extended trip in the name of Jesus….
Are we even going in the name of Jesus or is it part of the "Christians" we call ourselves- Jesus calls us to give our entire lives for him. To be servants- to pick up our cross daily and follow him. Does that mean we can't have nice things and enjoy life- absolutely not- but there is such a HUGE difference in giving Bc we are called to give and really giving and dying to yourself in order to prefer another brother or sister we may not even know all the way across the world. Living to the extent and intensity that God has called us to live isn't going to be the "normal"- its not going to look like the church of America- it's not going to look like other Christians that sit in a pew on Sundays and Wednesdays and never go out and make disciples. The Lord has called us to be intense and radical- being intense and radical will make you look crazy- you will be put down by people you love and people of the church- they will call you crazy- but isn't it worth it all?! To really step up and stand out for the Lord- to lay down your life- to for real pick up your cross and follow The Lord daily.
Just think how different our lives would look if every morning we woke up and said Lord- what do you want me to do today and wait and listen for His voice and follow where He leads.
If we truly lived like He has called us to live and listened to the voice of The Lord when he speaks there would be revival break out everywhere- the hungry would be fed- the lame would walk- the mute would talk- the dead would be raised- the sick would be healed-
CHURCH OF AMERICA IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP!!!!!!
We have brothers and sisters dying in spirit and flesh daily and we continually sit and allow it to happen.
It's time to step up and not be another statistic sitting in a pew on Sunday and Wednesday… What's the point in going to listen to truth if its never applied to your walk and relationship with The Lord. How intentional are you in spending time with The Lord and really stopping long enough to sit and soak in His presence to hear from Him? Do you really know Jesus in the fullness of who He is?!
He is our DADDY…. We should have a relationship with The Lord and know Him far more deeper and on an intense level than anything even close to our earthly father. For some of us we would say yes we know our heavenly father far more than our earthly father but for those of us who know our earthly fathers well and have good relationships with them– Do you know The Lord in that way? Do you know all about Him? Do you know His heart and see through His eyes and hear with His ears or are you seeing with the eyes that the church has taught you to look through and the ears of this world? We can all have great intentions and do great works all day long but if there is no relationship intensely with The Lord and truly doing what we do through His heart and His real genuine love isn't it all in vein?
Every year in America there is 10 million spent on church buildings and 230 billion on real estate owned by churches.
This is insane! There are brothers and sisters all around the world meeting in underground rooms, mud walled rooms smaller than a car… All risking their lives just to be able to study the word of God while wearing next to rags for clothes and starving. This should be an issue to make us as the church of America rise and take a stand and prefer our hurting brothers and sisters over ourselves. It's not going to kill us to not live in huge houses or to not drive a brand new car or wear all name brand clothes… Is it really going to kill us giving up eating out all the time or having that Starbucks coffee every day. A lot of people say there is no way that we as individuals can have a worldly impact- that's a lie from the pits of hell!! With commitment- obedience and The Lord- we can and will make an impact world wide for the kingdom of God. God can do so so much with our very little of nothing!
Are you really walking in obedience? Are you giving all you have to The Lord?- after all you only have it because He allows you to have it..Are you dying daily to yourself and carrying your cross?
BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF AMERICA IT'S TIME TO RISE AND SHINE FOR THE KINGDOM OF God- IT'S TIME TO STOP LIVING OUR SELFISH BUSY LIVES AND PREFER OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS AROUND THE WORLD OVER OURSELVES….. IT'S TIME TO LET THE MIGHTY WARRIOR THAT YOU ARE RISE UP AND STEP OUT IN BATTLE FOR THE LORD- we are losing brothers and sisters daily when we have all the power and authority in Jesus name to move mountains and change this world for Him.
He has given you everything you need for the journey; not too much and not too little- he has equipped you and you have what you need! RISE, STEP UP, STEP OUT, GO AND DO WHAT YOU WERE CREATED FOR…
